Most of the scarves I make originate from a bolt of silk. Available in various sizes, they are measured, cut, sewn, dyed and painted by me. Like my paper sketches, I first draw on the silk using a resist to outline the design and then apply the silk dyes by brush. All dues are heat set on the fabric. These scarves feature a rolled, hand-sewn hem edge. I include care instruction with each scarf purchase.
